Summary
Cheaper than Magic cards
Pros: There's a LOT of game packed into this title. I'm not sure how long the story mode is, having only played that mode for a dozen hours or so, but the multiplayer version rocks! There are hundreds of cards to collect and the game is well-balanced enough that it never feels that a card played against you is a cheap move. The gameplay feels just right.
Cons: The graphics are a bit plain, but work well enough considering that this is essentially a "cross between Magic and Monopoly" (the words of the store clerk that convinced me to give this a try). The sound effects are also PS1-level.
Reviewer's Comments
I only bought this because the store was out of the title I wanted and the store clerk suggested that this was a pretty good bargain at the $10 price they had it for. Considering that I've played this game for about 50 hours so far, most of it in multiplayer mode with numerous different friends, I can definitely say I've gotten my money's worth out of it! Lot's of fun packed into a simple-looking package. If you enjoy Magic The Gathering or similar collecting-card games, you'd likely love this title.
