Summary I loved it!!!

Pros: I loved the John Carpenter remake so I loved this game. I love a game that puts you in the middle of nowhere and you have to brave the elements such as this game does. You are in the antartic(isolated and cold) where the snow is brutal and you can't trust a soul because they could be one of the things. Loved how you can lead and interact with your squad members and how at the same you were always looking over your shoulder. Great gameplay. A fairly long game. Very realistic weather conditions like its real-life counterpart. You can actually freeze to death on the game or get lost in the snow. Very bloody and gory!!! Macready from the game looked and sounded like Macready from the movie which rocked. The game is almost like a sequel to The Thing because it picks up with the story where the movie ends!
Cons: could have had better graphics, more weapons, and I don't think that Kurt Russell did the voice-over for Macready in the game which sucked but the guy they got did pretty good.

Konami gave it a great shot and they did pretty good!!! Besides movies made into games and vice versa are very hard to pull off and most are crappy anyway... This is one of the few that I've seen that isn't!
