Side-scrolling action platformer game featuring Mega Man's friend, Zero, New weapon customization system lets you adjust game level difficulty, A new improved, user-friendly Cyber-Elf collection system, New-in game special effects, tutorial, mission select and temporary save features added, For 1-2 players over link cable
SummaryCan I say sweet? Sweet!Pros: Great controls overall, awesome graphics! Storyline is easy to follow and holds true to the Mega Man series we all know and love. The link feature is great, and so is the new menu screen. The addition of Forms and EX skills adds a new exitement to an old character.
Cons: Very rarely, the controls are a bit too slow (or am I too fast?). Also, the fact that you have to hold the L trigger/button to use your secondary weapon makes your finger tired fast (either hold it down or constantly switch weapon positions in the menu). The music can become a bit redundant after time, such as when you are in one area for an extended period trying to raise your skill levels.
Reviewer's Comments
Zero has always been one of my favorite characters, and he strikes again in Mega Man Zero 2. When it hit the shelves, I couldn't buy it due to lack of money. It slipped my mind for a while, until I hapened to be walking into a GameStop and saw an old promo poster being rolled up. I was going to buy a couple games for the SNES, but decided to buy this one instead.
I can't put it down! I highly reccomend this game to all Mega Man fans, and to all gamers who have never heard of the Maverick Hunter at all! Even if you have never played the first one, get the second one. Don't have a Game Boy Advanced? Get one!
