Overall

Summary Didn't see that coming.

Pros: The premise, the storyline, the sidequests, the FX, the enemies, etc. I really enjoyed this game...
Cons: ...until I beat it. (SPOILERS) I had played games before where my character had something to do with the crisis at hand, but in those instances, everything worked out for the best. I thought that this would be one such instance when it was revealed that Jade was, if this is to be believed, the source of the Dom'Z Priest's power. But when I saw that Dom'Z thing grow out of Pey'j's hand after the credits, I felt like throwing up for the rest of the night. At least when this happens in a Mortal Kombat game, you can't assume the ending is set in stone.

Reviewer's Comments

Overall, this is a great game, if you don't mind the feeling that you've actually made things worse for the people you were only trying to protect. If you read this review before playing the game, pretend you didn't until you've beaten it.
