SummaryClassicPros: As has already been pummeled into your head by the other reviews... the story itself is long and gripping. Side quests will keep you coming back for months or, often, years. The characters are lovable and lively. And the battle system is both innovative and addicting - an early version of the Knights of the Old Republic type of battling.
Cons: World map and battle backdrops are severely dated. I also occasionally had a problem with game freezes due to the battle beginning or ending which is especially frustrating on longer dungeons.

Once it grips you into its story, i assure you that you'll play at least twice for the sole reason of discovering the other characters. Plenty of clever and unsuspecting plot twists make getting into the story suprisingly easy.
