Reviewer's Comments

Wild Arms is a Role Playing Game for the Sony Playstation that is good for a starting Role Playing Gamer. This game may not be as memorable as Breath of Fire III or Final Fantasy VII but it sure is a great Role Playing Game that I really enjoy.

A boy with a gun and no magic. A girl with spells and is ok with taking damage. And a guy, yes a guy, with a sword and abilities. Sounds like two games in one don't you think? Earthbound and The Legend of Zelda, perhaps? The gameplay is like any other RPG; Try and save the world.

The graphics. Oh the humanity. The graphics from the towns and outside are a bit old school (such as Final Fantasy III for the SNES). But those graphics are not the problem graphics. The problem graphics are the battle graphics. Oh what a treat you will have. Blocks? On a Disc System? I thought blocks were meant for Mario to hit. I lowered my score for the graphics because of the way the graphics look. I am going to agree with Holy Vampire when he writes, "This game is more fit for Super Nintendo, . . ." as well as, "But when you are playing a Playstation, you should at least get Playstation graphics." The only thing Playstation in this game is the intro movie.

Almost everything sounds perfect. The battle theme. Could we please have a different battle theme in different areas? Please? The intro song. Please. That is the best song for an RPG to have. It is hard to decide which is a better song, the intro song to Wild Arms or the credits song of Final Fantasy VII.

The controls are like the other Role Playing Games for the Sony Playstation, unique and changes with every Role Playing Game. That is what I love about the Role Playing Games for the Sony Playstation. The controls are just like the gameplay. Very good and could not be better.

It is definitely worth getting a memory card to save because this game is really long that you might just end up selling it if you have to start from the beginning every single time. This game is really not worth replaying unless this is your first time playing. The only good part is the Intro Movie.

Buy or Rent:
I have no clue. If you want to get a game for the Sony Playstation that is supposed to be for the SNES, then this is the game for you. I consider it an ok game for gamers who are getting started in the gaming industry and are looking for an Role Playing Game with a good challenge.
