Summary Minimalistic fun

Pros: Minimalistic design and approach to the game. More refined gameplay. 2 player (without links)!
Cons: Not as bright and colourful as Wipeout2097/XL. Some may find the minimalistic nature of the game offputting.

Wip3out greatly refined the already refined gameplay of the 2nd and produced a more subtle third game to the series. Republic Designers gave it a more minimalistic feel to the game - giving it a sense of efficiency - just like the gameplay. The soundtrack isn't as diverse as previous games - most of it was composed by Sasha - but it gives it a trancey/hypnotic feel to the game.
Not as big a leap as the 2nd one - but still pretty damm good.
