One-on-one basketball game, Each NBA baller and legend has more than 10 different off-the-hook skills, In-depth Create-A-Player mode, Online B-Ballin: Play as your favorite Baller and take on the world in online Tournaments, For 1 or more players
Summarymore bad than goodPros: The versus modes and any mode in which pros are availiable for use are fun, and I really like them. I like how you can customize your created player in campaign mode (rags to riches) and unlock cars, houses, and even jets. You can also acquire new modes and moves like alley-oops. These things are good.
Cons: Now, the bad things. Well, more like horrible things. The rags to riches mode, in which you create a player with bad stats that has any name and looks you want, and pit him against other ballers and pros-- is bad. Since your player has bad stats, you'd think you'd face lousy players at first. Well, you face six lousy players, increasing your stats slightly (they are still bad at this point). Then you go straight to facing pros. The first is Karmelo Anthony. He's almost impossible to beat. KARMELO ANTHONY! As I said, you can unlock cool stuff in this mode, but it's impossible (not literally, but almost) to get enough money if you can't beat K. Anthony! I think I've made my point. The Rags to riches mode just plain sucks.
Reviewer's Comments
Everything about this game is good, even great, but it's all ruined by that stinking rags to riches mode. You would think that mode would be fun, and it would be, if you didn't immediately start facing pros (well, almost immediately).
