Video Game
Players become Justin the gang leader, Naji the cop or Ashley the fashion photographer, as they fight the descending alien horde, Fantastic alien designs and arcade action, as you fight past 30 levels of enemies, Multiple modes of play, from Story Mode to two-player Survival Mode
SummaryStalled InvasionPros: The opening movie was great, and the boss battles are a little exciting (and I mean a little), and it's only 20 bucks max.
Cons: Besides in the opening video, the sound sounds like a PS1 game, and the graphics are plain and unimaginative. The game is extremely repeatative and boring. It only has six different stages. Only 3 characters. Has squat for playing modes, Multiplayer is only Co-op in survival mode.
Reviewer's Comments
At 20 bucks this game should be a steal, but you get what you pay for. The opening movie makes you think you're in for a fun and exciting remake of Space Invaders. But it ends up being the exact opposite. The game is short (it can be beatin within 2 hours thanks to unlimited lives and only having six full levels), repeatative, and dull. The sound is PS1 worthy and the graphics only reach a Dreamcast standard. There are only 3 character to choose from with only 4 attacks, the gun, a special attack, a grenade, and a roll to the left or right. The only modes available are Story (1P) and Survival (1P/ 2P Co-op).
Truth be told, this is a polished up version of Space Invaders with a different name.
You'd be saving 20 bucks by not purchasing it. Avoid it.
