Summary
Great, but watch out!
Pros: The link system and other new gameplay mechanics spice this up really well compared to previous games. Also, if you're new to the series, the game gives you plenty of tutorials and simulations to get a feel for the game. Not only that, but the two branching storylines are really cool.
Cons: Don't play this unless you have some serious time on your hands. The pace of this game is a bit slow. Also, there's the fact that the story segments are about as interesting as reading a book (you see the background, what the character says, and the character's picture. That's all). It's a bit of a disappointment that they didn't work on those flaws since the very first Front Mission.
Reviewer's Comments
Honestly, since this wasn't the first Front Mission game I played, I had high expectations for this, being a fan of strategy-RPGs. Surprisingly, they were surpassed. The overall quality of the game is undeniable, and this game ranks amongst my favourite games of all time. BUT, you need to know what you're getting into. Nonetheless, a must-have for strategy-RPG fans, and a great game for anyone else with the time to enjoy this.
