SummarySurreal, yet AddictingPros: The graphics however blocky, are actually quite appropriate and there is a plethora of different items. This game is as addicting as Tetris despite its simple goal. The soundtrack matches the surreal quality with all sorts of music like a big band swing feel to a children's choir to bright techno. The controls are simple and easy to learn and you could be addicted for hours playing this game.
Cons: There aren't really any true cons to this game. It's rather short and it attempts to have some kind of storyline involved, but it's all about rolling a really big katamari so it is a minor point.
Reviewer's Comments
Simply put, this game is addicting. It is a relatively simple concept, but there are still complexities abound in this game. Not only that, but there are a ton of items in the game and you will want to find them all vaguely reminiscent to Pokemon. The soundtrack is also quirky but really enjoyable to listen to and have as background music. It's fun to listen to, but it doesn't distract from the game so it is good. The main challenge of the game is to try to get the "high score" so you will probably play trying to get the biggest katamari possible. In any case, it is one of the most surreal games ever, but it is still addicting and entertaining.
