Summary DOA IS KING

Cons: Enough with the Warning intro. I get the point. Aerosmith, why them? Get more addrenalin musicians in there. Not the crappy one's like:NIN, Nickelback, or Selloutica: get Rob Zombie in there, he loves the babes. Some moves are a little tough to get the hang of. What's with the DOESN"T MAKE ANY SENSE ENDING'S? Helena, Lei-Fang, Christie, Bass, Hayate, Ryu, Hitomi, and Jan-Lee. All had endings that had nothing to do with what they talked about in the games. I know the Japanese are extremely symbolic. I understand Brad Wong quitting drinking. Yet to meditate through EVERY change of season on a cliff. C'mon, the guy has got to be thinking of his appetite and thirst. A MAJOR thing that pisses me off about this series. Is they're explaining DOA TEC, the Kasumi clone, Kasumi running away to avenge her brother Hayate, she did and wants to go home, and others etc. etc. It doesn't take two games and now 3 (DOA4) to barley get there. At least she got to a tree with a view, CRAP! Helena wants to avenge her mother's death. Who we think is Ayane, GET TO IT WILL YA'. Swimming in the ocean with dolphins doesn't help reach that. It just does more for the "SEX SELLS" market propaganda. Kasumi -Chan looked really disproportional in her ending, a major CG opperation needed. I hate how the last bosses of this series are always too d@^^N easy. Even on hard they aren't even difficult. English, Speak the D@^^N language. If DOA 2 for the Dreamcast and PS2 had it, GET A CLUE Microsoft.
Pros: The controls of this game are better than any other fighting game I've played. A TON of moves, most are easy to just remember. Extra costumes, and extra characters, always a plus. I can use the backrounds, and knock an opponent off 12 stories high to continue the fight. Real combat styles, moves, no switching between forms, very slight myth involved, no weapons, no throwing energy blasts, just hand to hand fast paced combat. Being able to counter attack with any move an opponent does is AWESOME, and to fight well in this game requires you to learn. Time attack, Tag-Team, up to four players, Survival, and Story mode are all good features. The detail in this game is great, a real eye opener. "She kicks high" the women kick more @$$ than the guys, so true.

Reviewer's Comments

DOA is not to be underestemated by any means. The series has come along way since the Playstation days. This game is addicting as well as the series. I like the hand to hand combat, and no MK, SF, KOF, nonsense either. TEKKEN or Virtua Fighter don't even come close to what this series has to offer. Only the english dub. and that's it.
