Summary A Must Have

Pros: Where to begin, ah yes, the open world is a huge plus, you can go anywhere you want, when you want, and do anything you want, how you want. Now, like others, I can't bash on graphics because IT IS A REGULAR XBOX GAME (give it a break it is old). Moreover on the subject, there are tons of things to do and or collect such as armors, wepons, spells, clothing, ext. To touch on just how much there really is there are around 10 diffrent sets of armor to collect (give or take a set or two) and wepons to go along with them. I can't begin to tell you about the spells. Also there are alot of factions to join (faction are similar to clubs) each faction with a ton of missions. I could go on forever but it would be easier for you to get off your butt's and go play it. You wont regret it.
Cons: ok, now on the subject of sounds, of the few sounds the characters actually do make, to be blunt, there terrible, you get a few ufffs and grunts during combat and if you lucky a few spoken lines such as "now you die" other than that I hope you like to read...NO wait, love to read because that is all you do. Now another down side is that once your given a mission good luck finding it, they rarley mark anything on your map and you wonder around for hours like a idiot looking for your place of being (there directions are as such, "go to Balmora and then head norht-west until you reach the lake then head dead west") and that is really confusing because you dont have a compass (unless you buy the game of the year addition) and there directions are not always accurate in the first place so even with the compass you have difficulties. There fighting style is pathetic, you either chop at your opponet or jab with any type of melee wepon, but that is to be expected, once again this is the regular xbox we are talking about. Now another down side is it will freeze accasionally but not to often there are specific reasons it freezes but I wont go into that. I am sure there are more dislikes but I cannot think of any.

Ok, in general this is a great game and deserved it's title of Game Of The Year and will live on for years to come, I promise you that. The only way you will not find enjoyment out of playing this game is if you dont like games that are fun. Now with that being said follow my motto and rent before you buy and if you rent it be sure to give the game at least two hours of play before you decide you dont like it, it's one of those games that takes some time to get the hang of. I swear you will play this for years once you have had a taste, and if you like this one, definitly check out Oblivion it's the fourth game in The Elder Scrolls series and is a blast as well (for the 360 though), but that will be on my Oblivion review.
