SummaryGoes the DistanceCons: The lack of current and classic boxers (no Wladimir Klitschko, Rocky Marciano, Mike Tyson, Riddick Bowe, Nikolai Valuev, etc.) and arenas (only 6) take away from its replay value and the career tends to get annoying and repetitive. The game also proves to be very difficult on the harder difficulties. Shameless product placement from Burger King, Dodge, and other non-boxing companies.
Pros: The game is one of the most visually stunning games I have seen on the 360 and the replays back this claim up as you can see the sweat get knocked off you or your opponent. A strong boxing title that is more realistic than other titles produced by EA Sports. No stamina bars adds to the realism of the game and the presentation is well done. Good soundtrack from Obie Trice and Akon among others.
Reviewer's Comments
The gameplay speaks for itself but the game is meant for boxing fans, so those not familiar to the sport may not enjoy it as much. It could use more game modes.
