Summary Could have been better

Pros: The Graphics were better than many DS games. The characters look a lot like the real people (except that Jack is missing his hat) and move really smoothly and accuratley. The controls take some getting used to, but work really well with all the combo moves. At first, the fighting is a little stale, but as you get further on, all of the combo moves you unlock really make fighting way cooler. After you beat the game, it's easy enough to play any level over again, by just going to the location select menu, and clicking where you want to go. Plus, there are different characters to buy and unlock, so you can change up the story completely.
Cons: One major thing I hate about this game is that its repetitive. It seems that every level has a cycle, defeat enemies to get to a new location, then repeat. Every so often, you have to burn some stuff out of the way with a torch, but even that gets old after a while. there are a few things that keep you going, though. Once in a blue moon they mightadd a puzzle in, but those are rarely ever in there. The boss fights at the end of each world are pretty fun, but a couple of those are even the same. Also, the characters don't even talk, you just read what they say while they make dramatic hand motions. One more thing, the story is a bit rushed, and doesn't explain things very well. If I hadn't already seen the movie, I'd not know any more about anything than before. Also, the attempt at re-enacting the fight between Norrington, Jack, and Will is pathetic.

Reviewer's Comments

This game can get very boring at points, but is still pretty fun, despite the fact that almost everything is the same.
The fighting and all the weapons is a definate plus. Overall, this game is average, but still worth getting. Just wait til the price goes down
