Summary Adventure in the Sands

Cons: Unfortunately the game has some detection problems, And that kinda sucks since it's a platformer but it's not bad in most parts. Also, the game Does kinda lame with explanations at times, but thank god theres nothing too complicated. But, the Majority of the flaws reveal itself when your playing as the Sphinx. First up, The Fighting Is WAY to unbalanced because every battle is either too boring just slashing stuff or Way too Hard trying to figure out what to do. Another thing is the life, since the mummy is invincible your not worried half the time but as the sphinx you can be stuck at a part for HOURS just trying to get past ONE story battle. And it's Rare to find it when you need it. And the Puzzles for the Sphinx are the same as the battles either too Simple or Too Complicated, It's a Guessing game Until you finally get back to the mummy
Pros: The Game has some really neat environments and creatures and adds to the imagination of Egyptian mythology. It has lots of fun Puzzles, Especially when your the Mummy, Setting yourself on Fire of slicing your self into 3 to figure stuff out is so awesome. It Definitely a Good platformer too. The Writing isn't bad too, it has lots of comedy and adventure in the story

Overall it's a Good Platformer with plenty to keep you entertained until the end. theres Both a PS2 and A GC Version but I would get the Game cube version because it slightly better with platformer controls, But both are pretty identical.

If you Love Platformers Or Puzzlers Then Pick it up!
If you like Adventure Action Games More... try Zelda

This game will make you laugh, and maybe angry during the sphinx parts so Don't expect a perfect game. But the Mummy parts will make up for it with his Stooge like humor and crazy Traps.
So half Is Awesome, And Half is Meh.

Something I find Strange though is the Ending, It let's on that theres a sequel but even for this game you shouldn't wait up for it.

It's A Really Cool game, Most of the Time your playing.
