The game is great, the fishing pole adapter sucks beyond belief. It is almost impossible to play the game with the pole! Otherwise it is fun to play and has a lot of extras in the game to find, like going up to the AI fishermen and challenging them to different things. Just beware of the Z button as is instantly cuts the line even if you have a trophy fish on. The makers really could have better utilized the WII's controller's features and a few minor adjustments could have made the game much more fun. All in all the game is worth the time and money(without pole). Nothing better than sitting in your pj's on your bed and catching a 53 pound striped bass!
